11. The Carevita Platform

Carevita is a platform designed to connect individuals (the "Customer") with self-employed care professionals (the "Carer") for the provision of live-in and night care services. We perform background checks on Carers through third-party services, but we do not guarantee the reliability, suitability, or quality of the Carer. Customers are responsible for ensuring the Carer meets their specific needs and standards.

Our platform facilitates the connection between the Customer and the Carer, but Carevita does not provide care services directly, nor are we responsible for managing care delivery, payment disputes, or the conduct of either Carers or Customers. The relationship between the Customer and the Carer is strictly independent, and Carevita is not a party to any agreements made between them.

For night care, Carers will be required to provide care during night-time hours as per the agreed-upon schedule. The Customer is responsible for providing a safe and suitable environment for night-time care, ensuring that the Carer has adequate rest and access to all necessary facilities during the shift. We recommend that night care agreements, including any specific duties or rest times, are clearly communicated and mutually agreed upon.

12. Care and Living Conditions

Carers must be provided with a minimum of 2 hours of break time each day during daylight hours, with breaks able to be banked up to 14 hours over seven days. We also recommend a minimum weekly food allowance of £30 for Carers. It is the Customer’s responsibility to ensure that living conditions meet the necessary standards, including a separate bedroom, suitable toilet and bathing facilities, and clean bedding.

13. Fees

The Company facilitates the transaction between Customers and Carers through our platform, but the Fees for Carers are non-refundable. These fees are determined according to the pricing schedule at the time of booking and will be charged according to the payment method specified by the Customer.

14. Referral Program

To qualify for the referral bonus, the referring client must complete 4 weeks of care with Carevita before payment is issued to the introducer.
