OUR CARERS
Why choose Carevita?
We introduce experienced, self-employed carers - and we check them properly first. You choose from matched profiles, and can speak to a carer by video call before deciding.
We would only hire self-employed carers whom we would allow to care for our own loved ones.
Our carers have a background in permanent placement, so continuous care is a priority
We strive to always send the same Carers.
We train our carers based on CQC requirements.
Nurse-led care plans and assessments are done by our nurses—clinically approved care at home. Our Carers are handpicked and trained by a nurse.
Our clients and families' feedback has rated us 5 stars on Google.
You will be supported with a dedicated Coordinator to help you throughout your journey with Carevita.

Why Families Choose It
What’s included in 24 Hour live-in care?
Our comprehensive 24-hour live-in care services are fully tailored to your personal needs.
At Carevita, our live-in care is tailored to provide the specific kind and degree of care suited to your unique situation. No two people are the same, and neither should your care be!
Below are several ways a live-in carer may be able to help make things easier for you or your loved one:
Complex Care
Specialised nursing care for complex clinical needs, including medication administration, PEG feeding, catheter and stoma maintenance, and enema assistance. Our carers are professionally trained by registered nurses to manage complex conditions.
Companionship
If you live alone or with a partner but are distant from close family or friends, a live-in carer can be your companion for watching beloved TV shows, playing board games, accompanying you to a club, or simply enjoying a chat over a cup of tea.
Dietary Needs
Your live-in carer can prepare your favourite meals, drinks, and snacks at times convenient for you, handling the cleaning and tidying up post-meal. Additionally, they can prepare healthy dishes tailored to any specific dietary guidelines you follow.
Household Chores
Whether you need comprehensive housekeeping assistance or just some help to manage it, a live-in carer ensures that your home remains neat and organised, allowing you to relish a genuinely serene and comfortable space.
Personal Care
A live-in carer offers discreet and compassionate personal care, eliminating the need for you to rely on family members for private tasks. This personal care can encompass support with tasks such as bathing, toileting, and dressing.
Around the clock care
Whether you need comprehensive housekeeping assistance or just some help to manage it, a live-in carer ensures that your home remains neat and organised, allowing you to relish a genuinely serene and comfortable space.
What is 24 hour live-in care?
As well as live-in care, we also offer 24-hour care in London. Standard live-in care differs from 24-hour care.
With our live-in care service, a qualified carer is present in the home 24/7. They typically work up to 10 hours per day and are then available ad hoc throughout the night (with up to 2 wake-ups per night). 24-hour care in London goes above and beyond this, with a carer being available on-call whenever you may need them throughout the night.
24-hour care is particularly beneficial for those with medical conditions that require around-the-clock monitoring and treatment. In such cases, a second carer will be available on call throughout the night to ensure continuity of care whilst your regular carer earns a well-deserved break.
Book a free assessment today to learn more about 24-hour care in London and to see if it’s the right fit for you or your loved one.

How does 24-hour care at home actually work?
A typical day divides into daytime support and night-time cover. Through the day, a carer helps with washing, dressing and toileting, manages medication, prepares meals and drinks, supports mobility, accompanies your relative to appointments, and provides company so the hours don’t feel long or lonely. Overnight, the focus shifts. Now it’s about repositioning, help to the toilet, and quiet reassurance for anyone who wakes confused or anxious, along with a watchful eye for wandering or falls during the most vulnerable hours.
Where a rota is used, carers hand over in person and through a shared log so nothing slips between shifts. The care manager reviews the plan, liaises with the GP and district nurses, and adjusts support as needs change. Many London agencies, including ours, give families a secure app to see daily notes and medication records. We’ve found that visibility is what turns nervous families into confident ones.
Arranging 24-hour care with Carevita
Choosing round-the-clock care for someone you love is a big decision, and you shouldn’t have to make it in the dark. The right arrangement keeps your relative safe and settled at home, gives them one-to-one attention, and gives you your relationship back.
If you’d like to talk it through, book a free, no-obligation home care assessment. We’ll listen, explain your options clearly, and give you an honest, itemised quote. Call our team on 0208 1599069 or book a call back for a free assessment.
