What is an introductory agency?
Carevita offers introduction agency services, assisting in connecting you with independent care professionals, rather than overseeing ongoing care management. It's similar to hiring a cleaner or plumber directly; you maintain a direct connection with them and pay them for their services instead of going through a third party.
What an introductory agency can provide
Consistently help in locating the ideal self-employed caregiver for you or your family member and, when needed, find a replacement.
Conduct routine follow-ups to ensure that you and your family are content with the service delivered by First Guardians.
Manage payroll services for both you and your in-home self-employed carer.
Provide additional support services for you and your personal live-in self-employed carer, aiding in the management of your care through the guidance of your designated Account Manager.
What a fully-managed company with employed carers can provide
-
Carer training and performance management.
-
Care recipient monitoring and care decisions based on assessments.
-
Assessment of client needs and development of personalised care plans.
-
Offering guidance or making direct adjustments to the professional carer's activities.
-
Evaluating the appropriate type of carer based on the recipient's care requirements.
-
Advocating for the care recipient by adjusting care or offering advice.
-
Reviewing and managing care plans in collaboration with the individual.

The Carevita process
We focus on matching you with a self-employed carer from our extensive network, rather than employing carers ourselves. Most of these carers have been known to us for a significant duration. Each live-in, self-employed carer from Carevita enters into a direct contract with your family. We guide you through the setup process and all related arrangements.
The care professionals we introduce are responsible for the daily care of the care receivers. This involves collaborating with family members or main contacts, other care experts, and occasionally local authorities. Their duties include managing personal care, risk assessments, continuity of care evaluations, and ensuring the safety, happiness, and comfort of the care recipients in their preferred environment – their own home.

Our goal is to minimise the stress of managing your family's care needs, providing dedicated support and advice when needed.
The inconsistency in care (varied individuals providing care) can be particularly challenging for clients, especially those with mental health conditions or dementia. Introduction agencies like ours enable a direct match between clients and carers, fostering trusted relationships with improved continuity. This approach allows families to be actively involved from the beginning, choosing the right carer and jointly managing the care.
Live-In Care Worker Checks:

Our carers undergo extensive checks and vetting to meet CQC standards, which include:
-
A Comprehensive Interview Process
-
Personality Assessment
-
Enhanced DBS Checks
-
Professional Reference Verification
-
Comprehensive Mandatory Care Training
-
Liability Insurance Coverage
-
Demonstrated Live-In Care Experience

Beyond mandatory and regulatory compliance checks, we seek individuals who are innately caring and compassionate, embodying our core values of trust and integrity, crucial for live-in care.
